Brief

St Andrew’s Church, an imposing and historically significant church in the village of Kildwick, near Skipton, known locally as “the Lang Kirk of Craven”, approached Meerkat to provide a complete package of materials for its campaign to raise funds for a reordering, “in order that the building is fit for purpose, now and into the future”.

Solution

It was decided, after consultation, that Meerkat would produce a booklet, headed notepaper, envelopes and other printed materials together with a large weatherproof banner. Appropriate fonts were chosen, copy was edited to achieve the maximum impact and Meerkat’s photographer produced pictures of aspects of the church along with young musicians performing in it.

Outcome

The banner was used as part of an exhibition inside the church and the materials were made available for fundraising to general satisfaction.
